Craig Residence

Craig Residence

Designed by Roland E. Coate, Sr. in 1941, this Monterey Colonial-style residence employs a more restrained style and palette of materials not typical of the architect’s earlier work in Southern California, which pulled more direct period revival influences. This revitalization honored Coate’s original design, including restoration of deteriorated property with a seamless integration of architecture, art, interior and landscape design. KSMA collaborated with Shirley Bouch Interior Design, horticultural designer John Greenlee of Greenlee & Associates, and Graham Stanley, Landscape Architect.
